These neo-classical panels represent a pivotal moment in Victorian stained glass artistry. In person, they reveal a striking beauty and power that photographs cannot fully capture. Personification of virtues as female figures — Prudentia and Industria (Prudence and Industry). Bold use of lead lines with minimal painted details. Plating technique: two panes of glass in a wider lead channel for enhanced color depth. These works showcase the innovative spirit of Glasgow's artisans, blending Victorian aesthetics with emerging modern techniques that would later influence stained glass worldwide.
